Looking at the interest children in Pakistan have taken in the BG books, who otherwise were disillusioned by Urdu, friends in the United States requested if the BG could do Urdu-English books for Pakistani children living in North America. Dr Asad Mian took the initiative, and thus began the bi-lingual Biloongra series.

The objective of this initiative is two-fold: One, to publish bi-lingual books so that children of Pakistani parents living in the west may be able to appreciate the rich culture of Pakistan and of the sub-continent; and two, to inform the Pakistani diaspora of the important reform work which is taking place in the education sector in Pakistan.
